Find the source, then treat it precisely
Chronic pain is easier to treat when you know exactly where it’s coming from. Many of our procedures do double duty: a diagnostic block both confirms the source of your pain and provides relief, which guides the next step in your care.
From epidural steroid injections to radiofrequency ablation and neurostimulation, our goal is durable relief with less reliance on long-term pain medication — all performed under live imaging for precision and safety.

Understanding Your Pain Diary
After certain procedures — especially diagnostic blocks — your care team may ask you to keep a pain diary for several hours. This isn’t busywork: it’s diagnostic information that directly shapes your next step of treatment.
Why it matters
A diagnostic block briefly numbs a specific nerve or joint. If your pain drops significantly during that window, it tells us we’ve found the source — and that a longer-lasting treatment like radiofrequency ablation is likely to help.
How to keep it
-
Record your pain level from 0 to 10 every 30–60 minutes for 4–8 hours after the procedure.
-
Note what you were doing (resting, walking, standing) at each check.
-
Bring the diary to your follow-up so your physician can plan the next step.
